Accessibility Statement
Exemplary Performance is committed to making this website usable by everyone, including people with disabilities.
Our Commitment
Exemplary Performance, LLC is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. Our work is about unlocking the potential of every person in an organization, and we hold our own website to the same standard: everyone should be able to learn about our research, tools, and team, and be able to reach us. We are continually improving the user experience for all visitors and applying the relevant accessibility standards.
Measures We Take
To help make exemplaryperformance.com accessible, we:
- Design and build the site with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as our target standard.
- Treat accessibility as part of ongoing site maintenance rather than a one-time project.
- Provide descriptive alternative text for meaningful images, and mark decorative imagery so screen readers skip it.
- Structure pages with proper headings, landmarks, and unique page titles so screen reader users can navigate efficiently.
- Label form fields and provide clear error messages on our contact and newsletter subscription forms.
- Aim for sufficient color contrast between text and background, and avoid using color alone to convey meaning.
- Support keyboard-only navigation, including visible focus indicators on links and buttons.
- Write link and button text that makes sense when read out of context.
- Test pages on desktop and mobile devices across a range of screen sizes and zoom levels.
Conformance Status
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities, at three levels: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.
exemplaryperformance.com is substantially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. “Substantially conformant” means that most of the Level AA success criteria have been met, and verification of the remainder is in progress. Our most recent review, completed on October 1, 2026, tested 10 pages covering every page template against the WCAG 2.1 A and AA success criteria with the axe-core automated testing engine and found no violations. On the same pages we also ran automated checks of keyboard focus visibility, the skip-to-content link, reflow at a 320-pixel width and text enlarged to 200%. Automated tools cannot evaluate every success criterion, and testing with screen-reading software has not yet been carried out; we will update this statement when it has. Accessibility is an ongoing commitment: we re-test as we add pages and features, and if an issue is introduced we correct it promptly.
